I loved Street Magic BTW, but did I detect a soupcon of Alan Moore era Swamp Thing John Constantine stirred into Jack’s DNA? Nah, probably only in my head…
Also congratulations on causing me to repeatedly forget while reading it that Street Magic was the work of an American author and not a Brit.
