This coming Friday I’m doing a “Freaky Friday” over at Bitten By Books, wherein a character from Street Magic gets interviewed.
Of course, I picked Jack.
So here’s the deal. Submit questions for the interview in comments throughout the week (up to midnight Wednesday, because I need Thursday to collate and answer them.) I’ll pick out the best ones for the interview and out of those questions, one random entrant will get a signed copy of Street Magic and an ARC of Witch Craft.
But the real prize is having Jack answer your burning questions.
Trust me, I’m an author.
I write speculative fiction, including but not limited to books about mages, werewolves, superheroes, steampunk monsters, fairies and demons. I have partially purple hair, collect comic books, do pinup modeling and photography in my copious spare time, and keep the music up way too loud.
Jack how do you feel about Pete. As a woman?
Jack, who would you love to be able to kill if you could do it and get away scott-free.
Jack – boxers or briefs?
Or neither?
Jack, how did you feel the first time you saw Pete again, after all those years?
Jack, I see you have calluses from playing the guitar. What was the first song you learned to play?
[...] Don’t forget to Ask Jack for a chance to win a copy of Street Magic and an ARC of Witch [...]
Jack, What do you think your life would be like if you didn’t summon the sprit that killed you?
Jack, what do you think of Gordan Brown?
Ha, I’m kidding! How do you spend those rare warm days in London?
Jack, how do you feel about being in a book?
What is your favourite sleeping attire? Or would you rather sleep in the nude?
Jack, do you have any heroes?
What do you read?
Did you keep track of Pete with your powers while you were separate?
How do you feel about Pete being in Scotland Yard?
I want to win!
Jack, tell me about the first spell you learned? How did it work out?
Jack steps up to the bar and orders, what?
Jack, describe the Black to the uninitiated folks who have not yet read the novel. Your answer will make them want to go and read the book RIGHT NOW.
Jack, what’s the best pub in London? Please don’t tell me any of those dark & dingy old man pubs either.
Jack, what scares you the most and why?
As a new character, do you feel that you have any similar characteristics to any other character in the fiction world? If so, who? And what noted characteristics do you find similar to this character? Do you see this character as a role model?
Jack how does using magic make you feel? Is there a rush or a gradual seduction to it’s use?
Jack, are you pleased with how the story came out after those long two years? And how does it feel to be known to the world through that story?
Jack, what are your favorite past times (when you aren’t avoiding the things the Black, of course)? And do mages associate with each other frequently, or do they avoid each other as much as they can?
